A number of various new lighting technologies make lighting possible, including a variety of light sources, lighting fixtures, and lighting controls
Light sources consist of:
Controlling the lighting systems are dimmers, switches, photo sensors, occupancy sensors, and most recently wireless RF devices that can be controlled via the Internet from anywhere in the world. The use of these devices is proving valuable as an easy means for cost-cutting and maximizing energy efficiency, while meeting demands for energy savings and sustainability.
Advances in Daylighting Technology reduce the need for electric light by introducing natural light into a building. This is accomplished through the use of aluminum tubes attached to light collection filters positioned on a building’s exterior. Use of these harvesters and in conjunction with light sensing controls will further reduce the number of lamps needed to maintain established foot candles resulting in a reduction of energy consumed.
In a future driven by demand response, Envirobrite is committed to maintaining awareness and the training needed to ensure each customer is provided with latest in new lighting technology.
